Terms of Service

These terms explain the basic rules for using OpusLog, including the web service and connected AI tools.

Effective date: June 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or using OpusLog, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
If you use OpusLog on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. The Service

OpusLog is a repertoire and program archive for classical vocal musicians.
The service helps users create, import, search, organize, and share programs, repertoire entries, works, notes, poster-import drafts, and related archive data.
OpusLog may provide integrations with AI tools through OAuth and MCP so that users can access supported OpusLog functions from those tools.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and connected accounts secure.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless the activity results from OpusLog’s failure to protect the service.
You should promptly revoke integrations or contact OpusLog if you believe your account or an AI tool connection has been compromised.

4. User Content and Permissions

You retain ownership of programs, repertoire entries, notes, uploaded files, and other content you create or upload.
You grant OpusLog a limited permission to host, process, display, transform, and transmit your content only as needed to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights needed to upload posters, program text, images, or other materials.
Do not upload content that infringes another person’s rights or violates applicable law.

5. AI Tool Integrations

When you connect an AI tool, OpusLog will allow that tool to act within the scopes you approve.
AI tools may generate imperfect requests or summaries. You should review important changes before relying on them, especially imports, publishing, or edits to archive data.
Publishing requires an explicit user request. Permanent deletion, if enabled for an environment, is treated as a separate high-risk action.
You may revoke connected AI tools from account settings or through the relevant AI tool interface where supported.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operations, scrape at unreasonable scale, or bypass security controls.
Do not use OpusLog to upload malware, spam, illegal content, or content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual property rights.
Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a person, ensemble, institution, or organization.
OpusLog may suspend or limit access if needed to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.

7. Sharing and Public Pages

Most archive data is private by default unless you choose to publish or share it.
If you publish a program or create an unlisted link, people with access to the public page or link may view the shared information.
You are responsible for reviewing what will be public before publishing or sharing.

8. Service Changes and Availability

OpusLog may add, modify, or remove features as the product evolves.
The service may be interrupted due to maintenance, incidents, third-party provider outages, or events outside OpusLog’s reasonable control.
OpusLog will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but does not guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

OpusLog provides archive and productivity tools, not legal, accounting, copyright, tax, or professional advice.
Catalog metadata, OCR, AI-assisted imports, and generated summaries may contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing important records before use.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OpusLog is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

OpusLog may update these terms when the service, legal requirements, or operational needs change.
If a change materially affects users, OpusLog will provide notice through the service or another reasonable method.
Continued use of the service after updated terms become effective means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
